Kirsty McCann – International

Kirsty McCann joined Foran Healthcare partner company of RED MILLS  in 2016. She is a qualified veterinary nurse, who studied and also guest lectured at University College Dublin, and has spent 10 years working in one of the largest equine referral practices in Ireland.

Before embarking on her veterinary nursing career she worked in racing for a number of years, it was at this time she also held her amateur license and rode in INH flat races. Kirsty also has experience in working with breeding stock having been employed by a large sport horse stud who specialised in both fresh and frozen AI for export.

Kirsty enjoys working closely with not only the direct customer but also the support team around a yard including vets, farriers, physiotherapists and land management specialists to ensure that the best possible support is given to the equine athlete or breeding stock.
